Biographies
Charlotte enjoys sharing her many years of performance, teaching and training experience with voice and the Estill Model working with singers and musical directors as well as voice/singing teachers from the major institutions and vocal health professionals.
Alongside her husband Marcel, they are Directors of Voice Your Potential® Ltd producing voice related training & events. These include annual Level I & II courses, in London and internationally in both Poland and Finland, Estill Figure Proficiency (EFP) and Estill Master Trainer (EMT) Certification Pathways and other courses attracting participants from the UK, Europe and globally. Charlotte is also available for ONE2ONE coaching sessions in central London and online video coaching.
Charlotte has Advanced Testing Privileges to examine for Estill Voice International. As President of the Estill International Certification Advisory Board her contribution to the Estill Voice Training® Certification Manual led to updates in both terminology and procedures.
She’s had a varied career in performance and music/vocal education. Performing professionally in opera and extensively as a session singer and an oratorio soloist.
As a voice educator, clients include CPL Productions for Sky TV, Native/19 Entertainment, Map Entertainment, Jimmy Hogarth/Kid Gloves, Royal Bank of Scotland, GlaxoSmithKline, Goldsmiths College London, Brighton University, Urdang Academy & Toastmasters, BRICTT (Brighton Academy of Contemporary Theatre Training), The World Voice Expo.I & II in Poland, Chichester Conservatoire, & NorthONE2ONE bookingampton University.
Always eager to build upon our understanding of vocal function, Charlotte has collaborated both in the UK and abroad with speech & Language specialists including Sue Jones, Consultant SLT in Professional Voice Rehabilitation and author of Laryngeal Endoscopy & Voice Therapy A Clinical Guide.
As part of research teams Charlotte took part in exploring new and exciting research using state of the art technology at The Ohio State University USA and at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust UK, continuing to build upon our understanding of vocal function.
Helen Rowson EMT/EMCI-ATP SD
Estill Master Trainer / Estill Mentor & Course Instructor with Advanced Testing Privileges & Service Distinction
Helen Rowson is a singer & voice teacher from Liverpool based in Barcelona since 1985. She began working with Jo Estill in 1996 qualifying as an EMCI from Jo Estill herself in 2003 & became the first to produce public Estill courses in Spain.
Helen has presented official Estill courses & workshops across Europe & internationally including within various centres & institutions such as The Royal College of Music (London), LIPA (Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts), Musikene (Conservatory of the Basque Country), the Association of Voice Teachers of Northern Ireland & the University of Waikato in Hamilton, New Zealand among many others.
Helen has worked as a vocal advisor at the Eurovision Song Contest for the Spanish & Andorran delegations on several occasions, with record labels & leading producers from Spain, Sweden & Great Britain. Also as a voice teacher in the first three editions of Operación triunfo (TVE1) & a vocal coach on the programme El número 1 (Antena3). Helen has also conducted workshops for the cast of The Lion King in Madrid.
In her private studio Helen has worked with many professionals from various fields such as David Bisbal, Carlos Latre, Clara Segura, Gabino Diego & many others.
Helen has a Master's degree in Voice Pathologies from the University College of London & also works as a voice rehabilitation specialist. She has co-presented with doctors Cristina Arias & Tatiana Botella the seminar 'Pathologies of Functional & Congenital Origin', presenting the work of the 'Vocal Coach' in re-education of the Professional Voice.
She has been a guest professor in the Postgraduate Diploma of Specialization in Voice at the Hospital Sant Pau (Barcelona) & has been a professor of the Estill Voice Training on the postgraduate course in Speech Therapy at the University of Blanquerna (Barcelona).
Helen Rowson is the author of the chapter 'Reeducation of the Professional Voice' of the singer/actor’ from the book “LOGOPEDIC PRACTICE IN VOICE DISORDERS” produced by the eminent Speech Therapist Inés Bustos.
Since 2020 as an associate professor at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, she's been part of the teaching team of the biomedicine department. Helen is also part of an international research group on the voice together with, among others, Kerrie Obert (Speech and Language Pathologist, USA), Donna Erickson (scientist and researcher in the spoken voice, USA) and Matthew Reeve (musical director UK).
As a performing artist, Helen was a founding member of the “a cappella” group Stupendams, publishing two albums in Spain & touring extensively. Today she is part of the group “Guateque Town” as a singer, songwriter & arranger & has just published their first album.
Marco Morbidelli EMT/EMCI
Estill Master Trainer / Estill Mentor & Course Instructor with Advanced Testing Privileges & Service Distinction
Marco is a voice and singing teacher who trained in Italy and in the UK.
He holds a Master's degree in Voice Studies from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London and is an Estill Mentor and Course Instructor from September 2018.
He currently lives in London where he is Joint Head of Singing at Mountview Academy. He is also a PhD student in Psychology of Music at the University of Sheffield where he investigates the relationship between the experience of authenticity and the integration of skills in the training of the musical theatre performer.
Ann Leberman EMT
Born and trained in South Africa, Ann appeared in many professional theatre productions there before moving to London in 1983.
Her West End and regional UK tour credits include: Cats, Barnum, King, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, A Chorus Line, West Side Story, Follies, Jesus Christ Superstar, Godspell, Joseph.
Ann's Estill journey began in 2002 when she attended her first Level 1 & 2 Course in London with Anne-Marie Speed, Paul Farrington and Kiereen Lock. She went on to train as a Certified Master Teacher with Anne-Marie Speed, qualifying in 2013.
Ann has since worked on numerous Estill courses as an EMT and was very privileged to travel to Nairobi in 2017 as part of the team to deliver the first Estill level 1 & 2 Course in Africa.
Ann has private vocal practices in both London and Bishop's Stortford and is the artistic director of 'Voices', a company dedicated to the training and development of young singers and dancers wishing to pursue a career in professional musical theatre.
Ann is on the audition panel at Mountview Theatre Arts in London where she is also a technical singing coach.

Alex Dengate EMT
Alex is a Musical Director, Conductor and Arranger. He is a singer, pianist, organist, drummer/percussionist and saxophonist.
He is passionate about singing, voice and in particular the Estill Model and its application for performers, singers and speakers across the globe.
Alex has ‘MD'd’ and performed in a significant amount of Theatre and Musical Theatre for The RSC, West End, UK Tours, Warner Leisure etc. He has worked in show/function/jazz/pit bands and ensembles across the UK and Europe including cruises, tours, festivals, pantomime as an accompanist/repetiteur and as a vocalist for the BBC on both radio and television platforms.
As an educator Alex was the principal lecturer in Musical Theatre, Singing and Voice at Stratford-upon-Avon College for over 17 years. He is currently a member of the singing faculty at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts and is an Associate Lecturer at Northampton University. He is the Director of Music at Knowle Parish Church in the Diocese of Birmingham.
Alex is a co-founder of ‘mtda’ (a Performing Arts training provider) and is co-director of ‘Crystal Gospel Choir’ with his lovely wife Louise.
Alongside Charlotte, Alex has been involved as part of a research team for the department of Speech, Voice and Swallowing at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust.
Later this year Alex is looking forward to taking his Estill Introductory Course to Finland, working with Tanja Torvikoski (EMT).

Tom Reade EMT
Tom Elliot Reade graduated from the Royal Academy of Music in Musical Theatre and has been working on the West End and internationally as an actor-musician, singer and actor in shows such as The Commitments (UK & Ireland Tour), Judy! (Arts Theatre West End) and The Choir of Man (European and Australian tours).
Alongside this Tom is a working vocal coach and musical director at the Royal Academy of Music, Italia Conti, London Studio Centre and Mountview as well as privately from London to local and international clients. He also works as a musical director with credits including NewsRevue (Canal Cafe Theatre), Putting it Together (Stephen Sondheim) and Company (Stephen Sondheim) as well as providing workshops and masterclasses through his company Permission to Play.

Katy Lees EMT-C
Katy is a classical singer, teacher and choir leader. She first attended the Estill VoiceTraining Level I&II course looking for help with teaching Pop and Music Theatre repertoire with more confidence and understanding.
She had no idea that the course would also answer questions about her own classical singing. As her children have finished school, she is now returning to begin her studies with Voice your potential in becoming an Estill Master Trainer.

Tom Bond EMT-C
Tom trained at Leeds College of Music, and graduated in 2015 with a BA (Hons) in Music (Jazz). Since graduating, he has worked professionally across the UK and Internationally as a Performer, Musical Director and Teacher at venues including at the BBC Proms at the Royal Albert Hall, Royal Concert Hall Nottingham, Liverpool Echo Arena, Stade Français Paris as well as many other regional clubs and theatres.
Notable professional engagements include: SAGA Ocean Cruises, BBC 2, Evolution Pantomimes, Kristian Thomas Company, Little Wolf Entertainment, Derby LIVE, Sinfonia Viva, The Magic of Motown and England Rugby.Tom has been a member of the singing department at Bird College since 2021. He has also co-founded the Kristian Thomas Company (KTCo), an East Midlands based performance training establishment and production company.
Over the last seven years as both Managing Director and Head of Music at KTCo Tom has acted as Musical Director for over 30 musicals and concerts as well as co-creating the ‘Accelerate Training Programme’, a one-year course aimed at equipping young people for higher education. He is also Assistant Head of Singing & Voice at Bird College.
Alongside his work in education Tom also regularly performs as a member of the Fat Cat Brass Band, who engages in over 120 performances across the UK and Europe each year.

Jessica Friend EMT-C
Jessica Friend is a vocal coach, performer, and creative based in South West London. Originally from the North Cotswolds, she has a background in both classical and musical theatre, training on the Vocal and Operatic BMus at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and the Musical Theatre MA at Mountview.
As a performer, Jessica is playing the role of Queen in The Light Princess with LAS Theatre at Stockton Arts Centre this December.
Her recent credits include Spot's Birthday Party (UK Tour & Singapore Fest), Three Little Pigs (UK Tour), Yoghurt Is Not Sexy (Camden People’s Theatre & Arcola Theatre).
With over 10 years of teaching experience, Jessica is the founder of Creative Notes UK, a company that offers 121 lessons for adult and young creatives, an adult choir "abso-bloomin-lutely not a choir", and runs workshops that blend singing, art, and yoga. Jessica's teaching approach is rooted in providing tools for vocal confidence, understanding and empowerment.
Whether performing or teaching, Jessica is passionate about vocal expression and has found her Estill journey with Charlotte Xerri at Voice Your Potential to nurture and empower that passion!

Collin Zammit EMT-C
Colin is a singer and vocal coach based outside London. He originally trained at the Johann Strauss School of Music in Malta and then graduated with an LRAM and PGDip in Musical Theatre Performance at the Royal Academy of Music.
His theatre credits include The Phantom Of The Opera, The Secret Garden, Sunset Boulevard, Chess, South Pacific and Little Shop Of Horrors.
Recording credits include “Bernardo” in West Side Story, Mary Poppins Returns, Black Widow, Pirates Of The Caribbean and How To Train Your Dragon. He was also a backing singer for Adele at Wembley Stadium and for Elton John at the Royal Opera House, Wembley Arena and Birmingham NEC.
Colin is the Musical Director at Redroofs School for the Performing Arts in Maidenhead, as well as a singing tutor at Mountview Academy Of Theatre Arts in London and at Stowe School in Buckingham.
Collin is an Estill Master Candidate (EMT-C) & is on Phase 2 of his Certification Pathway.
Chloe Carroll EFP
Chloe began her professional training at Guildford School of Acting where she received a Diploma in Musical Theatre. She was then awarded a full scholarship to train at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, where she received a BA (Hons) in Musical Theatre.
Her roles whilst training included Ensemble in Grease, Melba Snyder in Pal Joey, Carmen Bernstein in Curtains, Judge Roan in Parade, Adriana in The Comedy of Errors, Jessie Frost in The Bright and Bold Design, Tzeitel in Fiddler on The Roof and Sour Kangaroo in Seussical The Musical.
Now Bournemouth based, Chloe has worked as both a singing teacher and Musical Director for the last 8 years, working on musicals including Shrek, Peter Pan, Grease, School of Rock and Legally Blonde. Chloe is currently the Head of Music at Swish Theatre Schools.

Dylan Jones EFP
Dylan is an actor and singing teacher originally from Swansea, South Wales. He graduated from Chichester University on their Musical Theatre Performance course in 2021 and has since built a base teaching in areas around Surrey, West Sussex and Hampshire.

Griffin Jenkins EFP
Griffin Jenkins is an American singing teacher, musical director, and theatre producer based in London. He holds a Masters Degree in Musical Direction from Mountview, along with a PgDip in Acting, BA in Music & Linguistics, ATCL, and his EFP.
Griffin has been a professional MD for over a decade, with credits and theatre awards in America, New Zealand, and the UK. He teaches and MDs at several drama schools and is the Singing Lecturer in the School of Acting at ArtsEd.
