Charlotte Xerri EMT/EMCI-ATP SD

Charlotte enjoys sharing her many years of performance, teaching and training experience with voice and the Estill Model working with singers and musical directors as well as voice/singing teachers from the major institutions and vocal health professionals.

 

Alongside her husband Marcel, they are Directors of Voice Your Potential® Ltd producing voice related training & events. These include regular Estill Voice Training Level I & II courses each year in London, Finland and other International venues. Estill Figure Proficiency (EFP) and Estill Master Trainer (EMT) Certification Pathways and other courses attracting participants from the UK, Europe and globally. Charlotte is also available for ONE2ONE coaching sessions in central London and online video coaching.

 

Charlotte has Advanced Testing Privileges to examine and has been awarded Service Distinction for Estill Voice International. In continuing to find ways that will help other voice users and as President of the Estill International Certification Advisory Board her contribution to the Estill Voice Training® Certification Manual led to updates in both terminology and procedures.

 

She’s had a varied career in performance and music/vocal education. Performing professionally in opera and extensively as a session singer and an oratorio soloist.

 

As a voice educator, clients include CPL Productions for Sky TV, Native/19 Entertainment, Map Entertainment, Jimmy Hogarth/Kid Gloves, Royal Bank of Scotland, GlaxoSmithKline, Goldsmiths College London, Brighton University, Urdang Academy & Toastmasters, BRICTT (Brighton Academy of Contemporary Theatre Training), The World Voice Expo.I & II in Poland, Chichester Conservatoire, & NorthONE2ONE bookingampton University.

 

Always eager to build upon our understanding of vocal function, Charlotte has collaborated both in the UK and abroad with speech & Language specialists including Sue Jones, Consultant SLT in Professional Voice Rehabilitation and author of Laryngeal Endoscopy & Voice Therapy A Clinical Guide.

 

As part of a research team Charlotte has taken part in new and exciting research projects using state of the art technology to explore voice at The Ohio State University USA and at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust UK.


New for 2026
, Charlotte is introducing new concepts through workshops highlighting this and other research. Compiling her findings in order to evolve further insights that can help voice users everywhere.

Sarah Vaughan EMT

Sarah studied at the National University of Ireland, specialising in Opera.

 

She performs regularly in the UK and worldwide.
Perfomances and roles include as Cinderella in Cinderella, BBC (various), Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle, Westend Live, Noosa Alive Festival (Australia), Women of Ireland (US/Canada Tour), Young Sally in Follies, Belle in Beauty & the Beast, Cunégonde in Candide, The Magic Flute, Norma, L’elisir d’Amore and La Traviata.

 

Sarah also teaches singing in London at Mountview, London Studio Centre, Italia Conti and Kingsdale FS.

 

Additionaly Sarah's work also includes her private clients and as a musical director.

Sarah is an Estill Master Trainer

Alex Dengate EMT

Alex is a Musical Director, Conductor and Arranger; a singer, pianist, organist, drummer/percussionist and saxophonist. He is the Director of Music at Knowle Parish Church within the Diocese of Birmingham.

 

Alex is passionate about voice and in particular the Estill Model, its application for performers, singers and speakers across the globe.

 

Alex has ‘MD'd’ and performed in a significant amount of Theatre and Musical Theatre for The RSC, West End, UK Tours, Warner Leisure etc. He's worked in show/function/jazz/pit bands and ensembles across the UK and Europe including cruises, tours, festivals, pantomime as an accompanist/repetiteur and as a vocalist for the BBC on both radio and television.

 

As an educator Alex was the principal lecturer in Musical Theatre, Singing and Voice at Stratford-upon-Avon College for over 17 years.
He is currently a member of the singing faculty at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts and supports the acting department as an Associate Lecturer at Northampton University.

 

Also known as @thewestendvocalcoach Alex runs a vocal studio with professional clients on the Edgware Road, supporting voice users (both sung and spoken applications) to reach their full potential vocally, preparing for auditions, castings, show reels and voice reels (and sometimes just for fun!).

 

Alongside Charlotte, Alex has been involved as part of a research team for the department of Speech, Voice and Swallowing at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust.

 

Alex also produces Estill Introductory Courses in London.

Alex is an Estill Master Trainer

Gemma Bourke EFP

Gemma is a performer and Acting & Vocal coach based in Yorkshire, although originally from Cheshire. She started her professional studies at Huddersfield University where she graduated with a BA (Hons) Theatre (MT speciality) and furthered her training at East 15.


Since graduating, Gemma has worked professionally across the UK as an Actor, Singer and Teacher at countless venues including Cadagon Hall, York Barbican and Birmingham NEC.


In 2019 Gemma began her Estill journey on level I and II courses in the Estill voice model.


Gemma has had a varied professional career in performing in Musical Theatre, TV, Theatre, Concerts and short films as well as being a qualified lawyer.


Gemma’s experience as an acting & singing teacher specialising in musical theatre, spans 15 years, working with singers, actors, storytellers, barristers & judges.


Gemma also heads up the production and performance company Applause TheatreWorks and is a lead performer in the touring show “West End vs Broadway”.

Gemma has an Estill Figure Proficiency Certificate (EFP) & is on Phase 1 of
Voice Your Potentials Certification Pathway with Mentor Charlotte Xerri.

Molly Stanley Course Assistant

Molly is studying a BA (hons) in Musical Theatre Music at Chichester Conservatoire after getting an extended diploma from the Liverpool Institution of Performing Arts in Musical Theatre. This is where she was introduced to Jo Estill's work along with a growing love for the Theatre and the Arts.


Molly's passion for learning opportunities to build a future career in and out of the conservatoire have brought her to join us on this course.

Molly is a first year student of Musical Theatre at Chichester University.

Priya Hills Course Assistant

Priya is a musical theatre performer currently training at the University of Chichester Conservatoire.


She enjoys blending strong vocal techniques with expressive storytelling. Priya's approach with every project is one with discipline, creativity, and a genuine love for the craft.

Priya is a third year student of Musical Theatre at Chichester University.
